DALEY EXCITED--OH BOY!!

WOWWEE!! Daley is excited about spending the Parking Meter money!! Maybe some of it can be put into the pension fund, WHICH IS UNDERFUNDED!! Or maybe it could be used to hire back some of the city workers who were laid off. But wait! That would not ensure more votes for 2011, how silly, silly, silly of me.

Funny money

SCC posted a link to a site to print funny money. I think it should be used to pay all the politicians who want to pass the latest immigration bill. I have no problem with immigrants (Mexican or other nationalities). BUT....they should enter the country LEGALLY, they should LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH!!! Why is it that everything is now printed in English and Spanish. WTF!

RAPS

SCC and CPDDISPATCHER have some great comments on RAPS and the NBC Unit5 "investigation". NBC should tell both sides of the story. But I guess that wouldn't be as good a "story". Comments are welcome.

BOYCOTT MILLER BEER!!!! They sponsored the last immigration parade. I have no problem with people who immigrate, but they should do it the legal way. No way should illegals receive any benefits from our country. If their children are citizens, wonderful! But the illegal parents should still go home and re-enter legally. Our country has always welcomed people of other nations, as long as they go through the proper channels.

Isn't this totally unethical?? as our recent "Training" has taught us? OhHHH, maybe she hasn't taken the training........... This city is so screwed up. And funny how Mayor (who lives in the south loop area) has benefited from all the changes the TIF .....hmmmmm sounds pretty unethical to me!!

Patrol

Someone posted over at SCC that MOST of us (CPD) in PATROL, would be afraid to go into bad areas of our city. He must be a merit boss.

"If you don't know him, don't make judgements about him or his career, especially when most of you have spent your entire time in PATROL.While I realize that not everyone can escape the beat car, many of you would be shocked at what is demanded of coppers who work Gangs, Narcotics, and various task forces. Many of you wouldn't go the places they are asked to enterwith TWO guns. Be grateful there are still a relative "handful" of real police out there, or we'd all be screwed!!
